Sunday School Congregation B'nai Israel has a comprehensive religious and Hebrew study program which is intimate and supportive. Students begin at preschool level and continue throughout Bar Mitzvah and Bat Mitzvah. Rabbi Liebowitz personally supervises and trains the students for the Bar and Bat Mitzvah ceremony. The religious school, called "Beit Sefer," is a friendly parent involved Sunday and midweek school. Sunday begins with Hebrew at 9:30 AM with Religious school continuing for all students at 10AM to 12Noon. Our curriculum is based on the Union for Reform Judaism's curriculum project. Special outings outside of the religios school are held such as bowling, ice skating and movies. Breakfast discussions are held once a month for parents and for members in general on Sunday school mornings. Parents also gather for coffee and conversation prior and during Sunday school hours
